Past April, 12th and 13th, the II Spanish Economic Forum ‘La Galicia que viene’ took place in the Palexco building in A Coruña.
This symposium was aimed to analyse the challenges Galicia currently addresses, including politics, economics, Galician health, industry and technology or the objectives of the 2030 Agenda, and it had the participation of relevant personalities and professionals from large and medium-sized companies relevant for the future of Galicia.
Our group leader, Vanessa Valdiglesias, participated on the second day, in the Round Table «Galician leadership in biotechnology» explaining the growth of the nanotechnology industry in the last decades and its impact in many aspects of our everyday life.
In this occasion, she had the opportunity to discuss the potential of the Galician biotechnology sector together with Tatiana López, leader of Nanogap Company, Alfredo Bermúdez, leader of Healthinfoods Company and Adrián Mosquera, specialist in Haematology at the Clinical Hospital of Santiago, also members of the table.
